Lisa Ritter, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Lisa! I work with high-performing people who struggle with anxiety while trying to keep everything together in their personal or professional lives. Together, we can work on calming the noise, rewiring unhelpful thought patterns, and helping you feel more grounded as you move forward. My focus I work with high-performers, "over-performers", and individuals who are motivated to grow personally, academically, or professionally, including teens and adult women and men. Clients often come to me for support with stress and burnout, overcoming anxiety, life transitions, grief work, relationship concerns, or career coaching. My approach I provide a supportive and collaborative space that allows you to be heard while working toward success. I draw from research-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to help you build insight, re-wire negative thinking, and strengthen emotional resilience. My communication style My approach is warm and collaborative with a down to earth presence. I seek to connect, build rapport quickly, and really listen to what is important to you for your growth. My journey to mental healthcare I pursued counseling to do meaningful work that inspires positive change. In my work as both a therapist and a clinical leader in healthcare, I’m honored to hear people's stories and help them navigate through healing, transformation, and growth. My goals for you I can help you work toward your goals by exploring what brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll identify thought, behavior, or relationship patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop strategies to overcome barriers, reframe beliefs, and create lasting change. Our first session During our first session I'll ask about your goals and what brings you in for therapy. I'll ask questions to understand how current and past experiences affect your day to day life and what it is that you'd like to be different or better.
