Hi there, I'm Lynnette! I am Lynnette R. Craig, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor II. I am trained in EMDR. I have been practicing counseling since 2008 when I graduated from Colorado Christian University with a Master of Arts in Counseling. I now very much enjoy and see great benefits in virtual counseling. I have worked in a variety of counseling roles in private practice, residential, non-profit, and inpatient settings. I have worked with many age groups in individual counseling. My approach I utilize an eclectic style of counseling using many modalities to best fit the client and their needs. I am very client-centered, using unconditional regard, validation, supportive therapy, insight-oriented, reframing, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, interpersonal counseling, narrative, family systems, psychodynamic, psycho-education, and I often utilize EMDR when it is a good fit for clients. My focus The clients I have worked with have experienced a wide range of concerns including anxiety; depression; personality disorders; self-esteem; relationship dynamics & challenges, marriage, family, and parenting; dependency and addiction issues; purpose and fulfillment; adjustments and change; grief and loss; past and recent or current trauma; employment and homelessness and etc. My communication style My style of counseling is very client-centered. I want to meet you where you are at and foster a warm and safe place to process and navigate through past and present difficulties and experiences. I am very compassionate and empathetic.
