Getting to know Marasha Miller

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#135588) registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I am committed to supporting growth in clients, with the ultimate goal of helping them attain and maintain stability so they can live peaceful and productive lives. I am empathetic and assertive in my communication style, which has helped me develop strong therapeutic alliances with the clients I serve. I strive to create a relaxed space where clients can safely process their thoughts and express their feelings. In each session, clients feel understood as I show compassion without judgment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to leave with hope, knowing they matter. They can share their thoughts and feelings and know they are heard and seen. What can happen in each session depends on what is needed and what each person wants to accomplish in their work. Open communication is an important part of our work. Talking things through makes all the difference, so we stay on the "same page" as the work continues.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Best therapist experience. She pushes me intellectually and allows me to reflect on my decisions. She is a perfect balance of what therapy should have and very caring.
She is very detailed and well organized
Marasha is great! She is very empowering and I’m able to apply what we’ve talked about in therapy to real life scenarios. Choosing a therapist was intimidating for me, especially just off a photo and short bio. I didn’t know what to base it off or how to choose one but she focused on anxiety and has helped me realize alot about past trauma and has empowered me on my healing journey.
On my first day I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue with therapy no fault of Ms Miller but after my first and second session I’ve decided to keep at it .
I am so very pleased with the support I am receiving from Mrs. Miller. Her approach and tools have been so very helpful in my wellness plan. I am grate-full for her work in this arena.
