Hello! My name is Mariah Guidry, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I’m mindful that therapy can be a vulnerable experience requiring trust and connection. I strive to provide support and guidance while assisting others with processing experiences and navigating challenges. My approach I focus on creating an understanding, trusting, and safe environment for exploring barriers and struggles to achieve self-empowerment and healthy functioning. I utilize psychodynamic, emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-focused therapy, a humanistic approach, motivational interviewing, and other forms of therapy to assist with discovery. My focus As a licensed provider experienced with depression, anxiety, trauma, marriage and family challenges, grief, self-esteem, cultural and racial issues, and life stress, I am comfortable working with others on processing experiences related to specific events.
