Getting to know Marianna Evripidou

I am an experienced and compassionate Psychotherapist. During our sessions, I will create a nonjudgmental and confidential space where all of your different parts can be invited to share. My initial training at New College of California, where I earned a Master's in Clinical Psychology, was in the Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic modality. This foundation enables me to build on the therapeutic relationship and trust that all issues will emerge in that interaction and have a chance to be processed and healthily responded to. I am also trained in evidence-based modalities, such as CBT and DBT, to teach you skills to manage the symptoms that distress you. I know it takes courage to take the first step; however, most people are so glad they have taken action and no longer suffer alone without support and positive change. I specialize in all relationship issues, sexuality, LGBTQ+ concerns, individual empowerment, and helping you move forward from self-defeating patterns that limit your life. I am looking forward to working with you and guiding you on your journey toward your chosen best life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My Clients will leave each session feeling contained and enriched with deeper understanding of their situation, along with the skills to manage the painful symptoms and distress. They can expect a solid, welcoming safe place to join weekly where they can bring themselves and all that blocks their journey towards selfhood and manifestation. We will have goals, and we will work towards them at your comfort level. We will also trust our process and its complexity.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
