Getting to know Marissa Rodriguez

Hello and welcome. Psychotherapy is a transformative tool to assist you in centering your mind, body, and spirit. There is no need to limit your life or extend your suffering-I can help you find the relief you've been searching for. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Pacific Oaks College and am trained, licensed, and competent in various evidence-based practices. In honor of the diverse and multicultural world we live in, along with my own life experiences, I have evolved into an experienced Integrative Therapist. I truly believe and know that our minds, bodies, and spirits are designed to heal themselves, honoring life as a whole and healing from the inside out. I'd like to thank you in advance for caring for yourself. Whether you are looking for self-healing or enhancement, I look forward to meeting you and joining you on your healing journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In treatment, the flow of mutuality is the key to your healing and success. After we meet, you will gain a clearer picture of your options with the possibilities that await you. As an example, we can focus on your central nervous system to gain calmness which is essential for your body to function as desired. Moving towards syncing all results, as we harness and strengthen the mind and body connections. In this process, you will gain a greater understanding of yourself and your functionality. Regardless of the time we spend together, you will receive mental and emotional attunement, and with an abundance of knowledge to enhance your journey.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Maritza really pinpoints the visible issues and helps terminate or reduce the core problem. She makes you feel heard and appreciated in this journey of self-improvement.
Marissa has the perfect balance of holding space and empowering me to discover more of my being. She always makes me feel comfortable to just be in our sessions together. I love how she uses integrative techniques so it feels multidimensional and connected between my mind and body.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE working with Marissa and receiving her support as I navigate this very vulnerably challenging part of my healing journey. I love the way Marissa listens and offers space for me to reprocess not only what is going on the past, but also the present and find ways to care for my mental, emotional & physical. I am so grateful that Marissa has an abundance of holistic knowledge and can offer solutions and practices that can aid my wellness and healing journey without having to jump to medication. A million thank you's to Marissa for being an amazing therapist!
I felt like a case instead of a client being heard. I understand that they want to explain their technique but when she’s talking for 45 min of the session, I don’t feel heard at all.
