Hi there, I'm Mary! Being stuck in the same painful patterns can leave you feeling frustrated and overwhelmed and wondering why it's so hard to move forward. No matter what you are struggling with that holds you back, I believe in building a genuine therapeutic alliance that allows for exploration and understanding and will help you create meaningful, lasting change. My focus No matter what you are struggling with, such as trauma, anxiety, relationship dynamics, bipolar, self-worth, or life transitions, I offer an attentive, caring space for you to explore, learn new strategies, and resolve the blocks that hold you back. This will allow you to find the courage to be able to start the journey towards healing and change. My approach For over twenty years, I have helped people navigate life's most difficult experiences with collaboration, warmth, and curiosity. My approach is integrative and tailored to individual needs, using such techniques as EMDR, CBT, Internal Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused Therapy in order to address a broad base of issues. My communication style I provide a comfortable, warm space to talk about your needs, pain, and confusion. I find that collaboration and trust set the tone for openness, which leads to productivity. Although it may feel hard to imagine coming in to reveal your personal life issues, most people find it relieving to have someone who will carefully listen without judgment. My journey to mental healthcare Over the years, I discovered that my curiosity about people's stories and how they came to be is never-ending. I can remember as a child imagining how people felt inside those experiences. I now believe that my role is not to tell you who you are or what to do, but to retain authentic curiosity about where you have been and how to move forward.
