My name is Mary O'Connor, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University, as well as a Master’s in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton. I have years of experience working with couples and families in transition. My background includes family counseling, substance abuse recovery, and prevention of family violence. For over 25 years, I have been training therapists, and I truly love the work I do with couples and families. I have authored books on anger management and getting through divorce, along with several published articles in newspapers and websites. I’m told my sense of humor is contagious. I will help you prioritize your challenges. Whether it’s a few sessions or a longer time, I will support your process of healing. My problem-solving professional approach is combined with great admiration for my clients who are experiencing many of life’s challenges.
