Hi there, I'm Mary!
My name is Mary Sudyka, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Walden University. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy but often incorporate other approaches tailored to my clients’ needs. I work with individuals ages 12 and up, with diagnoses including anxiety, depression, PTSD, attention deficit disorders, personality disorders, and those in the LGBTQIA++ community needing support.
My approach
I use cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches. I am very family system focused and believe people are influenced by the systems they live in and interact with.
My focus
I see clients ages 12 and up for individual therapy and also offer family therapy. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD symptoms, personality disorders, mood disorders, attention deficit disorder, and anyone needing support identifying as LGBTQIA++.
My communication style
I create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment. As your therapist, I will support you and offer honest, direct feedback. I guide you gently to understand yourself and the system you exist in.
My journey to mental healthcare
Since age fifteen, I have wanted to support and give back to people. The impact therapists have is tremendous. Watching people reclaim their lives and overcome mental illness is the most empowering thing I have witnessed.
My goals for you
I encourage clients to explore and express areas they want to improve. If I see opportunities for growth in other areas, I will gently suggest working on those as well.

Never got to go to my appointment it was cancelled due to needing new card information. I had already inserted my card information. I don’t mean to make a comment so much on the provider but just wanted to make it known I wasn’t able to see this provider in case I mistakenly get charged for “missing” the appointment.
