I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Orange, California. I work with adolescents and young adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, and trauma, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and strengthen based approach to support my clients in living healthy life. My approach My approach is based on my client’s needs and challenges. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ( CBT) and strengthen based Therapy as both approaches help clients manage anxiety and use more constructive ways of thinking to lead a healthy and positive lifestyle. My focus I feel like my approach and style fit teens and adults who are experiencing difficulty with anxiety and depression, but not limited to these diagnoses. I work to help my clients gain a better understanding of their diagnosis by providing psycho-education and then working to create healthy coping skills and build skills to lead a healthy and positive lifestyle and outlook. My communication style My communication style is empathetic and accommodating. I want my clients to feel heard, comfortable, and understood. My journey to mental healthcare I have always been a big advocator for mental health services and working toward breaking the barriers and stigma that are placed on therapy. During Graduate school, I was placed at mental health clinic which allowed me to help individuals with mental health issues that were not able to receive due to the same barriers and stigma I was fighting for. After graduate school, I gained employment at a nonprofit clinic to continue on work to try to make a difference. My goals for you My approach to goal setting is to work together with the client by building rapport then establishing a reachable goal and tailoring goals as impairments and progresses change.
