I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I believe our therapeutic relationship is the foundation to help uncover and untangle the many layers we carry to survive in life. My passion is working with adults who want to rediscover and dismantle their own layers and break free while bringing wholeness and wellness into their everyday life. My approach My clinical lens is client-centered, humanistic, and existential, integrating attachment theory, family systems, cognitive behavioral theory, and mindfulness practices. I incorporate a wellness and mindfulness lifestyle. I cherish the intimacy of our therapeutic relationship, as it is vital to feel your most authentic self. I aim to hold a safe space filled with warmth, empathic support, connection, compassion, and use humor to help unravel parts that are scary, traumatic, and unknown. My focus I work with clients struggling with anxiety and/or depressive disorders. I also support clients experiencing life transitions, career dissatisfaction, phases of life, family dynamics, boundary issues, first-generation challenges, and trauma-focused concerns. My communication style My tone and communication with clients is personable, ordinary, easy, and matter-of-fact. I use a client- and person-centered approach. I provide unconditional positive regard, validation, support, and encouragement while challenging clients to gain insight or modify behavior. My journey to mental healthcare My passion for therapy and wellness began while finishing college and learning to manage my own anxieties.
