Getting to know Michael Brundage

Hello! I'm Michael, and if you are reading this, you are likely considering therapy as a way to make a meaningful change in your life. This is the first step toward building the life you deserve. Are you overwhelmed by your emotions? Stuck in your past? Worried about the future? Or do you just feel... blah... like you can't quite put your finger on what's wrong? You are in the right place! These are questions I can help you answer. I help men and women improve emotional skills, reduce symptoms, and develop coping strategies to navigate life's challenges. Together, we will create a plan tailored to you. This is your life, and only you know the answers-you just need a little help uncovering them. Change can be scary and uncomfortable, but if you choose to show up anyway, amazing things can happen. I understand that coming to therapy can be tough, so I strive to make your experience with me as safe and comfortable as possible. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from National University and earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is that you will leave our sessions with insight and hope. Some days that may be only a sliver and other days a bucket, but we will work to get you to the place you want to be. Please be advised, I start sessions only at the top of the hour. Please DO NOT book sessions that start at 15 minutes past, 30 minutes past, etc. If you do, I will be in contact with you to move that time. This is for scheduling purposes and allows me to assist the most people possible. Thank you

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I was not sure about first meetings with anyone. I felt comfortable with Michael. I’m looking forward to learning new coping tools with him.
I am a 68 year old female that has had therapy off and on since my 20s. Michael is the first therapist that I have actually felt at ease with discussing my feelings. I feel I have made big strides since having therapy with Michael.
Walks you through with kindness and warmness, also humor. It was reassuring to understand what I already knew and what I didn’t know to help me process and move forward.

Michael is very straightforward and professional. He is very good at listening and having his patients open up. It’s very comfortable talking to Michael because it feels like talking to a friend with experience and knowledge in therapy who can offer really good advice.
