Hi There! My name is Michelle Gutierrez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University. As humans, we all go through obstacles and life-changing events. My goal is to provide a safe place where you feel supported without the fear of judgment. My approach I provide psychotherapy with a client-centered approach, meaning that my work is a collaborative process where clients' expressed goals guide their treatment. I utilize several approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Motivational Interviewing. My focus My professional experience includes working with adults who may suffer from trauma, anger, anxiety, depression, grief, co-occurring disorders, substance abuse, and everyday life struggles.
