I hold a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. My approach is eclectic and client-centered. I can help you gain a different perspective, process, and insight into past emotional experiences that may be affecting you today. I take the time to understand the issues that are holding you back. My approach My approach varies depending on the client's needs and goals. Some of the theories I use include Gestalt, CBT, Solution-Focused, IFS, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, and Attachment Theory. My focus I have experience working with a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Some of my clients include military veterans, the LGBTQ community, and individuals struggling with communication, relationships, goal setting, depression, and traumatic past experiences. My communication style I am here and happy to help. I provide an atmosphere that is free from judgment, supportive, and a safe place for us to work together. My journey to therapy I enjoy working with people and have a deep affinity for helping others. Having experienced some traumatic events as a child, I wanted to understand why people think and act in ways that lead to self-defeating behaviors and actions.
