Mya Little, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Mya! A healthy outside starts from the inside. My specialty is relationships—not just with those around you, but with yourself. Life should be an adventure you enjoy. Therapy can help whether you are stuck in a routine, facing a new difficulty, or seeking to improve your life. My approach I hold a PsyD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Phillips Graduate University, a Master’s in Social Work from Temple University, and a Bachelor’s from Pennsylvania Western University, Edinboro. I have years of experience working with athletes and people in high-stakes professions to improve performance and reduce stress. Early interventions and teaching mental techniques are important. I specialize in Sports Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. I have provided services to children, adolescents, and adults in inpatient/outpatient, schools, community, and in-home care. I treat individuals with depression, anxiety, and life stressors or transitions. My focus I believe we never learn without trying. I live by the motto, "failure is when you stop trying." My communication style What makes me different is my character and essence. It’s about the connection with the person you work with. Without connection, you won’t feel safe to explore deeply. Scratching the surface won’t get you where you want to be. My journey to therapy I entered social services because I’m passionate about advocating for change. I enjoy engaging with people and believe we all can be our best selves—sometimes we just need help doing that.
