Getting to know Nailah Wilder

Hello! My name is Nailah Wilder, and I am so happy that you found me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California, with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief and loss, anger and stress management, parenting challenges, ADHD, life changes, and adoption-related issues, to name a few. I understand the importance of acknowledging everyone's individuality and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. It is my goal to meet you where you are and create a safe space to support your needs. I believe in supporting clients through the process of gaining insight into their challenges and collaboratively identifying practical tools and techniques to confidently make desired life changes. Fun facts about me: I'm a married mother of five children—three teenagers and two toddlers who were adopted through the child welfare system. I enjoy Pilates and exploring new places to enjoy exquisite food and drinks in beautiful, sunny Southern California.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Takeaways from sessions with me include a person-centered approach that will assist you with identifying treatment goals, strategies for processing thoughts and feelings, and skills-based steps to move toward the life that you want to live. I hope to be a source of empowerment, reflection and encouragement during challenging times.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
