What should a new client know about working with you?

I foster a safe and supportive environment that encourages open communication and active listening, while maintaining a clinically grounded approach. My path to becoming a mental health provider was shaped by a longstanding interest in how people make meaning of their experiences and move through emotional pain toward healing. Working in trauma-informed and community-based settings, I witnessed the profound impact of safe, collaborative therapeutic relationships, which deepened my commitment to supporting others on their healing journey. These formative experiences continue to shape my clinical approach. What sustains me as a clinician is the privilege of walking alongside clients as they cultivate individual growth and resilience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I will meet you where you are on your journey, supporting you in becoming the best version of yourself. In our first session, my goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you can exhale and just be yourself—no pressure, no judgment, and no need to have everything figured out. We’ll take time to get to know each other, talk about what brings you in, and start to explore what your goals might look like, even if they’re still taking shape. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your story, but it’s a conversation, not an interrogation—I promise! Above all, I aim to build a collaborative relationship where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move at your own pace. And if we can share a genuine moment of laughter along the way, all the better—healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time.
