Hi there, I'm Nichole! I'm Nichole (please call me Nikki) Blanford, LCSW. I believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive place to work through and overcome life's challenges. Our mental health is as important as physical health, and in my clinical experience and expertise, it thrives when nurtured with empathy, compassion, and acceptance. PLLC. My approach Each of us is on our own unique path, and I understand that your needs are unique. I strive to provide a confidential and individualized approach that feels comfortable and safe, where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I work to empower individuals to confidently enjoy life's unique journey. Personalized, one-on-one sessions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, person-centered approach, motivational interviewing, and other modalities as needed. My focus I provide therapy both virtually and in-person, treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, disordered eating and body image issues, grief, and therapy specialized for older adults, and life transitions. I use multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, person-centered approach, and solution-focused approach. I also incorporate mindfulness into my sessions. My communication style I value clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and valued. My journey to mental healthcare I decided on a path of social work and clinical therapy after my grandparents were in hospice. I found myself needing support in a way that I had never experienced. The therapist who supported me showed kindness and empathy, and I soon knew that I wanted to help others on their journey.
