I've worked at premiere facilities such as Hoag Hospital and the Betty Ford Clinic. Working with the underlying mental health issues which have driven addictive tendencies as a coping mechanism have been a specialty. I have experience working with veterans and their families, and I'm from a law enforcement family. I'm also part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have been practicing polyvagal theory and it's interventions to address anxiety and depression, as well as bipolar disorder. It's been a critical touchstone in helping clients to conceptualize a healthier way of functioning. I'll help you to understand the window of tolerance and to start paying attention to your dysregulated states.
