Getting to know Nicole Gonzalez

My approach is non-judgmental and client-centered. I am passionate about helping others grow through mental health and recognize that life can be challenging and creating change can be difficult. I have been providing individuals with mental health treatment for 10 years, and my clinical strengths lie with individuals who struggle with thinking patterns, anxiety, depression, anger, parenting, and marriage discourse. I focus a lot on thinking patterns, emotions, behaviors, and their connections, as well as building insight and awareness into thoughts and behaviors that create barriers in life or sustain challenges. My objective is to create an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding, allowing clients to feel safe while processing their thoughts and feelings, gently providing psychoeducation and techniques to assist. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Massachusetts Global and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from National University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My hope is that each clients walks away from their sessions with hope, awareness, processing tools and a trust in the therapy process.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
