“Noel has helped me so much in our few sessions than any therapist I have had- seriously. I feel like I’m able to talk to a really good friend who calls me out when I’m wrong and offers me the advice I need to hear, not the bad advice. I really do appreciate her so, so much, and haven’t had any problems. She’s great. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone I know who would be looking for a therapist.”

Getting to know Noel Guevara
I am Noel Guevara, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Loma Linda University and over 10 years of experience in mental health. I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds who face emotional challenges and patterns. I have a strong passion for supporting others, identifying limiting beliefs that keep individuals stuck, and teaching my clients how to break through and achieve a life they didn’t think was possible!
My approach
My approach is client-centered. I will meet you with empathy, open-mindedness, and unconditional positive regard. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to develop treatment priorities and create a vision and plan to achieve your personal and therapeutic goals.
My focus
I typically work with high-risk clients (suicidal, self-harming, impulsive) and individuals with personality disorders, eating disorders, and general anxiety or depression. I am comfortable treating these clients and am open to working with clients 16 years of age and older. I enjoy individual, couples, and group counseling.
My communication style
Clients often tell me it feels easy to speak with me. I believe that’s because I listen deeply and get curious about who you are and what you want to achieve with our time together. I have a soft, mostly calm tone, and there are times we may laugh in session because life, growth, and change can be fun!
My goals for you
I love setting goals with clients! After getting to know you and your reasons for seeking support, I will share what I hear you want to work on and ask where you’d like to see yourself emotionally in the near future. Together, we will explore your vision for therapy and desired outcomes, then set SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time-focused) goals. Each week, we will work toward building the mindset and behaviors that support achieving these goals.
