Getting to know Noele Clayton

I have done extensive work with the LGBTQIA+ population, specializing in mood disorders and trauma. I know that trauma comes in many forms, and not all are recognized by others in the field or by society at large. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist or that it doesn't have an impact. While I may not understand your experiences directly, I can empathize with your pain and struggle and see you as the complex and individual human being you are. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you on your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a person-centered therapist and while I am an experienced professional, you are the expert on yourself, so you can expect that we will be working together to work through (and sometimes with!) your issues. You are the one in charge, not me. Of course, I will guide the way if and when needed, but we do not go anywhere you do not want to go. Therapy takes time, and we can take as much time as we need.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
