Starting therapy may feel like a decision only for "big" events, but it's not. It's a significant step in achieving mental health at any point in life. I commend you for seeking the help you deserve. I'm here to support you in making this journey meaningful and personal. My focus is on helping individuals who are experiencing life transitions, ADHD, anxiety, depression, or trauma. I use a collaborative, client-centered approach to attend to your specific needs and goals. I'm here for you when you're ready to get started. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My approach I use CBT, Executive Functioning coaching, EMDR, and somatic approaches to heal from trauma, manage ADHD symptoms, and uncover motivation for change, personal strengths, coping abilities, and triggers. I support clients in exploring and questioning unhealthy feelings and beliefs in order to uncover their own solutions. I also guide clients through identifying and using their strengths to build coping strategies. My focus Oftentimes, we felt as if life wouldn’t give us a break. We can’t seem to feel rested or happy, and we end up depending a bit too much on “crutches” to get through the day. If you have been struggling with ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, or a high-conflict relationship, I'm the person to talk to. You deserve to start enjoying life without “crutches”, anxiety, or chaos. My communication style My approach to counseling is based on unconditional positive regard for the person(s) in my care. I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to be yourself and heal. I believe that the healing process begins with a professional relationship between client and counselor. A relationship built on respect, acceptance, and trust. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into becoming a therapist was based on my curiosity about the human psyche and behaviors, as well as a desire to help others.
