“Phyllis is a really great therapist. She took the time to really listen and get to know me and took her time to refer me to other specialists in my network that would be better suited for my needs which I very much appreciate. I will miss meeting with her but I know it's for the best!”

Getting to know Phyllis Leverett

I am a CBT-trained clinician, but I use a variety of approaches and treatment modalities to provide the highest quality of care for my clients, including Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness. I believe in recovery and understand that therapy requires effort. I assign homework to my clients to reinforce the work we do together and to encourage active participation, as therapy is a process. My therapeutic style is warm, interactive, and tailored to each client's needs. I offer non-judgmental, person-centered care. My clients’ goals for therapy are always my top priority. Therapy is a collaborative experience. I believe recovery is possible for everyone, but it takes work. Partner with me, and let me help you reach your optimal level of emotional and psychological well-being. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
