Getting to know Pryscillalyhn Mann

Hi there, I'm Pryscillalyhn! Hi! My name is Pryscilla, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I've worked with a wide range of individuals, from school-aged children to older adults. Areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship issues, and anger management. My approach I believe in empowering my clients to reach their optimal best selves and focus on their strengths to help overcome obstacles in life. I tailor my approach because a one-size-fits-all method doesn't work. My most common theoretical approaches include Problem Solving, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Attachment Theory. My focus I work with all ages but specialize in school-aged children through young to mid-aged adults. Issues I specialize in include anger management, mild to moderate anxiety and depression, life changes, loss and grief, and interpersonal/relationship issues. My communication style I aim to foster an emotionally safe space where clients naturally feel comfortable being vulnerable and speaking openly about the good, the bad, and everything in between. My journey to mental healthcare I fell into the role of a Social Worker when I took my first job as a youth supervisor at a crisis shelter. My love for working with at-risk youth started there but led me to the field of medical social work, where I have my primary job. After becoming licensed, I began working as a part-time therapist because I saw the deep need for more therapists while working in the medical field and recognized how intertwined physical and mental health are. My goals for you I have a client-centered approach and like to include my clients in goal-setting. My first session with you Our first session will be to gather intake information and assess if we are a good fit.

Pryscilla’s approach is gentle, collaborative and person-centered. From the very first session, she is deeply invested in getting to know her clients holistically and serving as a supportive guide to develop self-understanding. I would highly recommend her as a therapist and am grateful for her support.
Priscilla was a wonderful provider. She really was in a touch position for my partner and my needs, and she stayed neutral the entire time. When my relationship ultimately ended Priscilla and myself did sort of an exit interview that was very helpful to my mental health. 10/10 would go back to her for couples or Individual therapy.
