Hi there, I'm Remi! Hello, my name is Remi LaFayette, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University. My approach to therapy is collaborative and compassionate, drawing from evidence-based practices to help clients navigate life’s challenges and achieve their goals. I specialize in working with individuals and families on issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and personal growth, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing and empowerment. My approach My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I integrate evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness-Based approaches. I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, SFBT to focus on strengths and solutions, and mindfulness techniques to cultivate present-moment awareness and emotional regulation. I also incorporate Person-Centered Therapy to emphasize empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard. My goal is to empower clients to develop the skills and insight they need to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. My focus I primarily work with military veterans, addressing the unique challenges they face during and after service. I am comfortable addressing issues such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and difficulties transitioning to civilian life. My approach emphasizes understanding military culture, fostering resilience, and helping veterans navigate relationship dynamics, career adjustments, and personal growth. My communication style My communication style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, aimed at creating a safe environment where clients feel comfortable sharing openly. I strive to foster trust by actively listening and validating experiences.

90’s baby! He and I click on multiple levels, definitely a great person to speak with! Doesn’t feel like therapy. Very relatable and has constructive ideas on how to cope with relevant issues.
I started asking fir help in dealing with a difficult marriage. I feel Remi has been honest, forthcoming and helpful. I dont always really like what I'm told. But it's honest. And the homework assignments make me dig deep.
Remi is brilliant. He masters matters of the heart with the precision of a surgeon. Wise, intelligent, patient beyond his years, he’s the mold by which all counselors should pattern themselves after. I was an abject loser before Remi, now I am Olympian. Whatever you’re paying him it isn’t enough. Pay him more money.
