My name is Renee Davis, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a Master's in Counseling from Hope International University. I enjoy working with couples and individuals, specializing in sexual addiction, recovery, affair repair, depression, and anxiety. I am trained in dialectical behavioral therapy, which I use to help balance mood and create a life worth living. My approach involves teaching skills to improve communication, decrease depression and anxiety, and help you feel effective in reaching your goals. I focus on working with adults who struggle with mood dysregulation, relationship stress, and panic attacks. I particularly enjoy supporting those dealing with codependency and marital discord. My communication style is centered on providing an environment where you can discuss issues you might not share even with your best friend due to fear of judgment. Healing happens when we can externalize and normalize our experiences. I feel honored to be present with people during their lowest lows and highest highs. I love people and walking alongside them on their journey of healing. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to set goals that make your life feel more meaningful and effective. In our first session, we will explore your current stressors and your willingness to change your circumstances. We will also do a deep dive into the schemas or stories you have learned that cause you to repeat patterns that no longer serve you.
