We are trauma-informed and certified in Autism treatment. Dr. Robert Cox, who holds an EdD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Memphis, and Cox Family Wellness provide a safe, quiet, confidential, professional space for adults and couples to discuss whatever is on their minds. I work from a mindful, compassionate approach that allows people to feel seen and heard. My experience is in crisis services, substance use, anxiety, and depression. I am glad to chat about your concerns and your resilience. I want to help you remember your power. What should a new client know about working with you?

When we meet, I will ask you to describe what happened to direct you to talk with a counselor. That is a brave step to take, and often there is uncertainty. As you tell your story, I will also ask about the future you want to grow into. All this conversation will happen with compassion and eyes open for opportunities to express kindness to you and others in your world.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
