Hi there, I'm Roberta! Greetings, my name is Roberta Perno, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology and Counseling from Missouri State University. My primary approach to counseling involves assessing and identifying each client's unique experience and providing interventions tailored specifically to them. My focus includes, but is not limited to, depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, grief, parenting, women's and men's issues, coaching, and self-care. My approach The interventions I utilize most in counseling services include CBT, DBT, Grief Therapy, Solution-focused, Client-centered, and Trauma-Informed methods. My focus I typically work with clients aged 18 and older, both male and female, primarily individuals. The conditions I am most comfortable addressing include depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, men's and women's issues, career adjustment, relational concerns, co-dependency, and parent/adult-child relationships. My communication style I build rapport quickly by providing a safe, encouraging, and trusting environment. It is very important to me that clients feel heard, understood, and respected during our sessions. Additionally, my personable style often helps clients feel at ease and comfortable early on in the process. My journey to mental healthcare I have a natural ability to understand human nature, combined with a deep desire and passion to help others on their journey toward hope and healing. My goals for you During our first intake session, I will explore with you three goals you would like to work on in counseling.
