Getting to know Rochelle Allen
Hi there, I'm Rochelle! I am Rochelle Allen, LCSW, and my passion is working with and helping those who have experienced trauma in their lives.
I hold a Master's in Social Work from Pennsylvania Western University. I have been trained in brain spotting and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for those who have experienced trauma or other disturbing life events. I was previously state licensed in Washington State as a drug and alcohol counselor and have worked with incarcerated persons in jail, using motivational interviewing.
My experiences include working with individuals with complex trauma, drug and alcohol concerns, those who are formerly incarcerated, at-risk youth, and members of the LGBTQ community.
I focus on providing a strength-based approach, creating an empathetic, warm, and collaborative nonjudgmental space where clients can process and work on healing.
