Psychotherapist
CO
Hi there, I'm Rochelle! I am a trauma-informed LCSW experienced in working with trauma, men’s issues, addiction, and occupational trauma, including military personnel and first responders. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space using a collaborative, compassionate, and practical approach to help clients heal and create lasting change. My focus I work with adults and teens who are ready to better understand their experiences, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change. I focus on helping clients identify their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward realistic treatment goals in a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment. My approach My approach combines evidence-based treatment with a relaxed, calm, and supportive environment where you can process what you’re experiencing without judgment. I work collaboratively with you to understand your goals, build practical coping skills, and develop strategies that support meaningful, lasting change. My communication style My communication style is direct, honest, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should feel comfortable and authentic, so I use clear language and, when appropriate, humor to help create connection, ease tension, and make difficult conversations feel more approachable. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist has included several fields focused on helping people reach their goals, including higher education. In January 2020, I began my MSW with the goal of working with Veterans. Graduate school—and a global pandemic—taught me a lot about capacity, resilience, and compassion. Helping others has always been part of who I My goals for you I believe therapy goals should be realistic, achievable, and meaningful to you—not overwhelming or requiring you to change the world. We’ll focus on manageable steps that build confidence, improve coping, and help you navigate life more comfortably and on your own terms.
