Getting to know Rosanna Salazar

Hi, I’m Rosanna Salazar, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. My practice is trauma-informed, culturally-centered, and relationship-oriented. I support healing and growth for people of all ages who may experience stress, transitions, anxiety, or depression through telehealth and mental wellness. My approach I engage in a variety of approaches based on the treatment needs of each client. I am experienced in cognitive-behavioral therapy, change implementation, mindfulness, and healing-centered practice. My practice is strength-oriented, and our work together will help empower you to find tangible strategies for meeting and sustaining your goals. My focus Stressors that come with life experiences—such as transitions, relationship struggles, racial/cultural trauma, infertility/parenting, and work/life balance—can make you feel stretched or unable to cope. I have vast experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults who struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, confidence challenges, trauma, high standards or unbalanced expectations, limited coping skills, sadness, and/or depression. I am attuned to the treatment needs of BIPOC, first-generation, bicultural, and minority leadership populations. My communication style I aim to create a space that honors the client’s voice and experience, uplifts vulnerability and courage, and affirms your healing. I believe in the transformative power of relationships, and the special trust between us is one of our most powerful tools for change and acceptance in this process. This space is cultivated to be empowering and judgment-free through my active listening and engagement and your courage to lean into the process. My journey to therapy I am fulfilled in seeing growth, coping, and healing in others.
