Getting to know Sabrina Sherman

I hold a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver where I focused on a mental health concentration and earned a certificate in Animal Assisted Therapy. I am a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and Certified Animal Assisted Social Worker. In my past professional life, I worked as an actress and earned my bachelor’s in film from the University of Southern California.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I enjoy working with children, teenagers, adults and couples. In my work I use a mixture of mind body practices, IFS, cognitive behavioral therapy, Play therapy, ACT and EFT. I also am a big proponent of offering my clients coping tools that can help support them in between sessions when times are particularly challenging. I also have experience with play therapy and experiential therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

All session are virtual and are 50 minutes long.
