Getting to know Shantara Kull

Shany Kull believes that healing begins in a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. Her approach to therapy is grounded in humanistic principles, recognizing that every person has an innate capacity for growth, resilience, and meaningful change. Together, she hopes to create a collaborative, compassionate environment where you can explore your experiences at your own pace while building greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional well-being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Shany specializes in working with survivors of sexual abuse, individuals navigating postpartum challenges, and those healing from Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD). She understands that trauma can profoundly impact one's sense of identity, relationships, and connection to self. Her goal is to help clients move beyond surviving toward living with greater authenticity, confidence, and inner peace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Shany's therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each individual's unique needs. She incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand and heal wounded parts of themselves with curiosity and compassion. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) are used to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns while fostering healthier beliefs and coping strategies. She also utilizes Gestalt therapy to increase present-moment awareness, deepen emotional processing, and strengthen the connection between mind and body.
