Hi! My name is Shantrinia Basit, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC). I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC) and my Bachelor's in Human Services from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I have worked in the mental health field for over seven years, gaining experience in schools, the juvenile system, and outpatient treatment.
I enjoy encouraging, empowering, and motivating others to be their best selves. I like helping people identify their problems and working with them to find the best solutions. I promote self-care and making yourself a priority. It is important to give to yourself so that you can give to others-remember that.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients will learn how to put themselves first. You will learn how to set appropriate and healthy boundaries, and be okay with it. You will be empowered and learn to love the little things about yourself, be more decisive in making the best choices for you, as well as challenge yourself to be your best self!

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
