Psychotherapist

Life is a roller coaster, full of highs and lows. Sometimes, we need some help navigating life’s twists and turns. Creating a relationship with a therapist can be daunting and scary; the first step is often one of the hardest. My role as a therapist is to provide tools and offer insight. My goal is that each session we are able to come together and support you in the way you are needing. I am trained and certified in many therapeutic modalities in order to provide the most tailored experience. My approach My approach to therapy is person-centered and strength-based, with an emphasis on positive psychology. I hold a certificate in complex trauma, which includes advanced training in parts work, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and polyvagal theory. In addition, I am trained in emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I integrate principles of neuroscience into my work to help clients better understand the “why” behind their patterns and, more importantly, how to create meaningful and lasting change. My goal is to meet clients where they are, providing both support and practical strategies for growth. I view therapy as a collaborative process. Healing and change are built through partnership, trust, and shared effort. While I specialize in trauma, I also work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, family dynamics, self-esteem and self-compassion challenges, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My focus My client focus would be on children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. Unfortunately, I only offer telehealth right now, and while that is great for others, for some, in-person is a better fit. My communication style I am an active listener whose therapeutic goal is to create a space that feels calm and protected. I focus on providing and encouraging positive self-talk through things like validation and accountability.
