My primary approaches to therapy are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing My focus I work with clients who are going through life transitions and/or recovering from traumatic experiences. My communication style My communication with you will be clear, respectful, and empathetic. My journey to mental healthcare I have always had a great appreciation and curiosity about people and their behaviors. For that reason, I have obtained Bachelor's and Doctorate degrees in Psychology and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have taken part in extensive training, internships, and a post-doctoral fellowship, which have enhanced my knowledge and skills. My goals for you It is up to the client to develop their goals for therapy. I will then develop interventions to help the client accomplish those goals. Those interventions will be evidence-based and dependent on the approach to therapy that best fits the client.
