Psychotherapist
CA
Welcome Everyone. In my practice, I am dedicated to creating a safe and empathetic space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions. My approach I ultimately believe the client is the expert in their own lives, and I meet them where they are in their stage of change. I draw from an array of evidence-based approaches e.g., humanistic, CBT, IFS, narrative, etc. I strive to foster trust through active listening, respect, and a collaborative therapeutic process. Your well-being is my priority! My focus My ideal client would be an individual facing challenges in different life domains as a result of experiencing trauma in their lives. If you are an individual who has felt in a freeze, flight, and or fight state due to their trauma, then I am here to tell you healing is a possibility with the right guidance because time doesn't heal wounds. My communication style I utilize a nonjudgmental, warm, and assertive communication style. My journey to mental healthcare I decided to become what I desperately needed as a child. Through my own self-healing journey, I have found the power in holding space and living proof that we are not our stories. We have the power to choose what defines and shapes our lives. My goals for you I assist clients in reaching their goals by collaborating with them when creating treatment goals and meeting them where they are. Furthermore, I provide guidance on setting goals that are realistic and tangible to help set up clients for success. My first session with you I believe treatment is separated into three different stages: beginning, middle, and end. Ultimately, the first session is a critical time frame to start the foundation of building rapport and trust. Therefore, the focus will be to collaborate and help me understand what brought you in by learning more of who you are.
