Are you struggling with self-esteem, intrusive thoughts, or trauma? Have you thought of seeking help, but were unsure what to do? Therapy can be scary, and I commend you on starting your journey. I’m dedicated to creating a safe space for you. I specialize in working with those navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, ensuring that each session focuses on your unique needs. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help you work through your concerns, offering you coping skills and tools to help reduce your symptoms and increase your quality of life. My focus I work with individuals, families, adolescents, and children to help reduce the issues that are causing stress and anxiety in their lives. My goal is to help you identify the underlying cause and assist you toward reaching your desired goals. My communication style I have an open communication style, meaning that the space I create is one of safety, so you can process through your challenges without fear of discrimination or judgment. I focus on actively listening and creating an environment that is calm and patient. My journey to mental healthcare My journey as a therapist grew out of my own experiences with therapy, specifically working through the trauma wounds and injuries that led me to utilize negative coping skills and tools that led me deeper into my own anxiety and depression. Because of the great respect I have for the therapy process and my healing, I chose to become a therapist. My goals for you I work with you to create the goals that you choose for yourself and provide tools and skills to challenge you to think, reflect, and make the choices that are best suited for your level of change. My first session with you I would like your first session with me to be one of getting to know each other. I understand that having a therapeutic relationship grows over time and is vital to the therapy process.
