“Stephany’s guidance has been incredibly helpful since day one. I’ve tried so many therapists over the last ten years and so often was left feeling like I was just emptying my soul and getting nothing in return. I wish I’d found Stephany sooner! I was completely stuck, especially in how I was feeling about my career, and not sure how to move forward. Stephany has helped me understand myself, step back and look at the facts around me and increased my confidence tenfold. Stephany has equipped me with invaluable tools to better manage various aspects of my life. The sessions were instrumental in fostering positive changes, and I now feel more empowered and capable of navigating life’s challenges with a new found sense of control.”

Getting to know Stephany Cecil

Are you feeling stuck, disconnected in your relationships, or noticing patterns that you don’t fully understand? You may be wanting to explore deeper—unpacking core beliefs or unresolved experiences that are impacting how you relate to others and to yourself. This process of gaining insight and gently challenging those patterns can be a meaningful step toward healing and growth. I have experience working with BIPOC individuals, women navigating anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, and individuals experiencing challenges with emotion regulation. I also support clients who are working toward feeling more like themselves again—reconnecting with a sense of balance, clarity, and emotional grounding. Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is an important part of the process. If what you’re reading resonates with you, I would be honored to support you in this work. Our sessions—whether weekly or biweekly—are a dedicated space for you to slow down, reflect, and focus on your needs. My current availability is during daytime hours, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and I am not offering evening appointments at this time. I look forward to walking alongside you in your healing journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a safe and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable to be yourself. I will hold space for the emotions that are difficult to feel and the thoughts that are difficult to say out loud. What you can expect from our first few meetings is you taking the time to tell your story from the very beginning to help me build a foundation for our future sessions. This foundation can be helpful to both you and I to explore patterns and themes from your childhood to your life now. I like to then explore your strengths to help build on your coping tools. Our sessions will include challenging or reframing negative thoughts that are causing distress in your life, addressing current and past traumas, and helping to create growth towards inner peace.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
