Getting to know Susan Mosier

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 45008) and Certified Professional Coach with 22 years of experience in mental and behavioral health. My specific training in Transpersonal Psychology combined with solution-focused methods brings a holistic approach to my work with each person. This means we will consider all aspects of your mind/body/spirit as we help you move toward feeling better. I have worked with people at every stage of life, from age 3 to 95, and I have supported diverse humans with multicultural backgrounds. In addition to therapy for individuals, I also have a specific interest in providing family therapy. I also know from personal experience that as we heal and overcome challenges, it is from these challenges that we find true resilience and self-compassion. As your therapist, I will guide you in your self-discovery to your own unique path toward healing, as well as give you practical tools to improve your life. I have worked with many humans to overcome challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, life transitions, family changes, serious medical conditions, chronic pain and end of life. I also have extensive experience working with people who identify as neurodiverse. My educational background includes a B.A. in Holistic Health Counseling from San Francisco State University, and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, with a Specialization in Transpersonal Psychology, from John F. Kennedy University. I have also been a Certified Professional Coach and an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner since 2013.
