Hi there, I'm Suzanne! My name is Suzanne Etheridge, and I want to welcome you to my private practice. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, EMDR and DBT trained therapist, and a Registered Play Therapist specializing in work with children, adolescents, and their families. I earned my Master's in Psychology from Chapman University. I offer support and encouragement to assist clients on their journey toward positive change, providing specifically tailored interventions unique to the issues each client presents. My approach I take a highly individualized, client-centered approach to help clients achieve their goals and personal growth. I utilize a variety of techniques that foster growth and change, including psychoeducation, creative expressive therapy, homework activities, CBT, DBT, EFT, and EMDR therapy. My focus I work with depression and anxiety; couples and relationship issues; adjustment and life phase challenges; behavioral and parenting concerns; relationships impacted by sexual difficulties, infidelity, or addiction; self-esteem, body image issues, and eating disorders; addiction and recovery; grief and loss; and abuse and trauma. I also specialize in supporting individuals struggling with codependency, compulsive behaviors, and addictions. My approach complements those utilizing support groups or twelve-step recovery models.
