Sydney Haynes, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Sydney! Hello, my name is Sydney Haynes, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I tend to take an integrative approach to therapy, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches to tailor treatment to your individual needs. I work with most client populations and have a broad area of practice. I want to work with you to find out what you need to live your best life—let's start this journey together! My approach I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I use these approaches when working with clients, but I generally take an eclectic approach to therapy and may combine parts of different therapy modalities to help you overcome barriers and stressors in your life. I want to help you better understand your emotions and learn new, healthy methods for coping with difficult emotions and situations. My focus I work with many different clients across a variety of settings. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with depression and anxiety, as well as trauma, PTSD, domestic violence, grief, coping skills, family conflict, relationship issues, sexual abuse, and addiction. Just because something you struggle with is not on this list, don’t worry—I have an open mind and will work with whatever you have going on in your life. I like to meet my clients where they are at in life. My communication style I work to create an environment built on mutual respect, trust, unconditional positive regard, and open-mindedness. I like to take the time to really listen to what you have going on and give feedback and/or clarify to make sure I am correctly understanding what you are telling me. I am open to feedback as well—if there is something you need from me, just let me know and we can make it work.
