Hello, my name is Teddi Plummer, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Mariposa, California, working with clients via telehealth. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, stress, PTSD, trauma, schizophrenia with auditory/visual hallucinations, bipolar disorder, OCD, depression, panic attacks, BPD, self-harm (cutting), dual diagnosis, co-occurring disorders including alcohol/substance abuse and behavioral addictions, and multiple layers of issues. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients make progress and heal. I teach clients how to use CBT, REBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness coping tools, and any faith-based coping skills they choose. These skills help alleviate distressing symptoms, provide freedom from unwanted intrusive thoughts or memories, and cultivate emotional regulation. My focus I work with adults experiencing mild to severe mental health symptoms causing mild to significant distress who are ready to work toward recovery goals. I frequently treat individuals suffering from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, social phobias, depression, substance/alcohol abuse, behavioral addictions, domestic violence, auditory/visual hallucinations often associated with schizophrenia or trauma, OCD, and bipolar disorder.
