Hi there, I'm Timothy! Hello, my name is Tim Pittman. I have been counseling for over 20 years, serving people in the area of mental health. I have assisted individuals with life challenges and changes in their lives. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University. My approach I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. My focus I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, and related mental health needs. I also support those dealing with substance abuse and other addictions. My communication style I'm a very calm and focused therapist who emphasizes building and establishing rapport with clients. I’m skilled at being empathic and solution-focused with my clients. My journey to mental healthcare I have worked in mental health for over thirty years. It’s the only career I know. I have always been interested in helping people find their way through adversity and growth. I get great satisfaction in serving others.
