Getting to know Veronica Fender

Verónica has over 25 years of experience working with individuals and couples. She began her career working with undocumented single mothers in need of financial skills to support their families. From there, she worked with the undocumented population, helping them secure resources for their basic needs and empowering them to become self-sufficient. Verónica also worked with the LGBT community in three different roles: providing psychoeducation to newly diagnosed individuals and their families; serving as a case manager to provide resources for undocumented clients diagnosed with various conditions; and finally, as a clinician offering individual therapy for those experiencing depression, anxiety, or PTSD. Later in her career, Verónica worked with the Forensic Juvenile Department, providing in-home family therapy to families involved in the criminal justice system. She also worked with individuals suffering from personality disorders. Currently, Verónica provides individual, couples, and group therapy to Veterans. Verónica earned her Master’s in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University, which has further enriched her ability to support diverse populations with compassion and expertise.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
