Vincent Blair, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Vincent! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#51015) with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College. My down-to-earth, friendly, and easygoing personality helps clients feel at ease as they find the words to express their anxiety and sadness. Working with me, you will quickly feel at home. Warm, authentic, yet professional, I offer a balance of clinical skills and a non-judgmental, friendly approach that helps you work past anxiety to express your feelings. I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach and incorporate 12-step principles for those struggling with substance abuse issues. CBT is widely accepted and helps relieve symptoms while increasing coping skills through problem-solving. I also draw on Solution-Focused Therapy, which highlights your strengths, resources, and desires by focusing on what is already working in your life and envisioning how things will improve. This shift opens more room for solutions to emerge. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in working with adults and couples, particularly addressing depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and various personal, work, and social stresses. I help clients ground themselves and stay present, encouraging the use of their own internal wisdom as a compass. Additionally, I have over 25 years of experience in addiction treatment, which informs my compassionate and effective approach. My goal is to create a warm, authentic, and professional space where you feel supported in overcoming barriers and expressing your true feelings.
