Hi there, I'm Wendy!
My name is Wendy. I have been a licensed therapist since 2008, working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I use an integrative approach and person-centered therapy modalities, utilizing your strengths to build on your areas of improvement. I have experience with community resources, grief counseling, and medical social work.
My approach
The top modalities I utilize are systems theory, cognitive behavioral therapies, mindfulness, existential, psychodynamic theory, and interpersonal therapy.
My focus
A client who participates in his or her healing is open to accountability, awareness, and insight. Be ready to do the work and acknowledge the challenge and perseverance in making it to the other side. Everything you ever wanted is on the other side of fear.

I have natural skills and abilities that attract people from all walks of life due to my spirit of calmness, peace, and healing. My training began in 2008, working with many different patient populations, including children, adolescents, families, couples, individuals, and geriatrics. I have experience in care coordination/case management, behavioral health program management, and hospital administration.
