William Perry, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm William! My name is William Perry, M.S., and I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 31552) for the past 30 years. I have vast knowledge and experience working with individuals, couples, and families throughout the lifespan, with specializations in EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and TFT. My approach My approach to therapy is collaborative. I studied under Roger Callahan, Ph.D., and Francis Shapiro, Ph.D., the creators of TFT and EMDR. Witnessing how highly effective and rapid these interventions took effect—and how they often ended years or decades of suffering—I knew being a psychotherapist was to become my life's work. My focus I am well versed in working with individuals who have anxiety, depression, trauma of all types, and phobias such as fear of flying, public speaking, driving, performance, and more. I also have an extensive history of treating those with substance use and other addictive or behavioral challenges. Another specialization is in treating couples and families; I have worked with those going through grief, divorce, parenting challenges, and relationship dysfunctions. My communication style I have worked successfully with hundreds of individuals, couples, and families to bring love and harmony back into their lives. Addictions are personally destructive and sadly undermine relationships. My experience has helped me to see each client and situation as unique and special. I'm confident that by working together, one can find serenity, peace, and happiness.
