Hi there, I'm Winnie! Life can feel overwhelming even when you're doing your best. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and EMDR-trained Therapist. I bring a warm and culturally-responsive presence to support adolescence, young adults and adults with anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions towards grounding and clarity. My focus I work with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity and belonging, self-esteem, and women’s issues. Therapy focuses on understanding patterns, improving emotional regulation, and building practical coping tools for daily life. My approach My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and integrative. I believe every person is the expert of their life. I work alongside clients to explore emotional patterns, deepen insight, and support meaningful change. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Expressive Arts Therapy, tailoring treatment to each person. My communication style I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space through clear communication. I listen closely and reflectively, encouraging open dialogue so you can share at your own pace and level of comfort. In sessions, I remain steady, attuned, and responsive, especially when working through difficult emotions and experiences. My journey to mental healthcare My path to therapy was shaped by curiosity about people, cultures, and connection. Through world travel and volunteer experiences, I became drawn to supporting others and understanding emotional experiences. I am guided by a belief in resilience, growth, and meaningful change. My goals for you Therapy is a collaborative process where we identify goals that reflect what matters most to you. These may include improving emotional well-being, strengthening relationships, increasing self-understanding, or navigating life transitions.
